i want to try lightwave, just to see what's so cool about it.

Is there any short (!) total-lw-beginners tutorial, to learn the most important features,hotkeys,basic functions...
I'm not a 3D-modeling newb, only a lightwave-beginner.

I'm a little experienced in Maya-modeling an -anmation and i did some Gmax tutorials (Powercharger,...) which i think was pretty easy.

Most Tutorials i found for Lightwave assume that you can already use the interface. It was annoying, i.e. it took me about 20 minutes searching through the manual to find the numeric-input tool (hotkey n).

Other than that there are many on the web, but I don't have the links at hand...
