Does anyone know how to get The realistic weapons Mod working with either the HD Mod or Sikkmod?

I like updated visuals, but updates sound help the experience as well!

If you just want the sound, try dropping the realistic weapons pk4 in your base doom3 folder. In most cases, it will trickle down to sikkmod.

Otherwise, use this method:
1) Make a copy of the sikkmod folder in your C:Program Files/Doom3
2) Rename the copied folder to "realistic weapons" (lowercase is best)
3) Go in your new realistic weapons folder and find description.txt, open it in notepad, change "Sikkmod" to "Realistic Weapons"
4) find pakmodfiles.pk4, rename it to pakmodfiles.zip
5) rename weaponfixbykilomate.pk4 to weaponfixbykilomate.zip
6) drag and drop all files from weaponfixbykilomate.zip to the same folder in pakmodfiles.zip, if you are asked, overwrite any pre-existing version of the same file
7) rename pakmodfiles.zip to pakmodfiles.pk4

@Gnalvl would you be so kind to explain how to do realistic weapons + doom roe sikkmod 1.1? i have no problems with doom3 sikmod 1.2 but with doom3 roe sikkmod 1.1 it is problem. because there are two files need to be aded, i tried every combination but it only works when I add Weapon_fix_D3_by_Killatomate.pk4 AND Weapon_fix_RoE_by_Killatomate.pk4 to the sikkmodd3xp directory. and when that happens it writes me something like "unknown ammo type+bloodstone" and than I add d3xp_ammo.def (which contains that bloodstone info) to the pk4 of sikkmodd3xp but than I got no sound on half of the guns :/. I'm stuck here for 4 days trying to resolve this but without succes. Again i have no problem when plaing doom3 roe, doom3 and doom3 sikkmod 1.2 with realistic weapons only when I am on doom3 roe sikkmod 1.1!

c'mon guys I know someone knows the solution. I played RoE last time on 9800pro and now I want again (hd4850) but with realistic weapons and sikkmod!

I have no idea what you're on about copying sikkmod or whatever your talking about, but I took what you said as basically modify sikkmod with realistic weapons. It didn't work. Game crashes to menu just as before.
