Doom3world

I got an impression that I can script any mod from scratch using Doom 3 scripting system. Is it correct?

By any mod I mean FPS game with weapons, monsters, etc. Kinda like Doom itself, but with everything new. Total Conversion so to speak.

I am looking for a base scratch script mod. Basically by running Doom 3 GPL and this mod, a basic menu pops up (New Game, Exit), a level can be loaded, a player spawns, an NPC spawns, and player can run around, while NPC just has its animations playing in the loop.

Is something like that available?

There's the catch: you have to make everything from scratch.

Scripts aren't GPL either (unless the author wants them to be).

I'd suggest starting your D3 compiled version with the basic D3 scripts/guis & use those as a base. When you get your custom ones just replace them.
