ok, here are some gems I've found :)

All these videos and zbrushs included zscripts tutorials is all you need to start making quite complex modelling in zbrush.

http://www.kurvstudios.com/

Sign up and download their free tutorial videos.

High Res with sound, z spheres to a detailed head in 40 minutes.

there are 3 different head tutorials, Alien (?), Bull, Werewolf.

Next

http://www.digitaltutors.com

sign up and get their free membership tutorials

In this we start with an imported cube instead of zspheres, and box model a head.

Don't miss these!

Maybe you should start a new topic? :)

Anyways... If I remember correct.. I don't have the demo.

You can use any brush, or even different 3d objects to deform you model, but you have to use the projection master for that.

If you do, hmm what should I call it... Basic modelling, then you can only change different transform modes, such as inflate, pinch, smooth. As well as brush size and focal shift.

there is other ways to model too, using masks and the deform "operators" or box model.

To explain the above would be to much in this post. I think you should find all this info in the Zscripted tutorials. If you still have questions, go ahead and ask for help. I don't say this becuase you shouldn't post your questions, but that the zscript probably teach you better than answers in a forum.

One last tip, Hold down CTRL while you mouse over any tool / button, that will show you a pop up tip that explains the use of that tool / button. It might also show you some basic info on your alphas and brushes etc.

Thanks for the links! They've been very helpful. If I find any other useful material, I'll post here. Why don't we add all the links to the first post?

Is it just me, or do a lot of the ZBrush models out there have lousy proportions and little or no bone structure? It's as if everyone starts with ZSpheres and goes straight into detail work, without bothering with large scale sculpting. Buck the trend!
