Just installed q4 on vista ultimate and having some problems with the textures being blury.

Specs as follows:

Core 2 2.4ghz
2 gb RAM
GF7950GX2
XF-i s/c
Asus p5wdh

Video/Sound card drivers all up to date, and i have tried both the 1.3 and 1.4.1 beta patch, but still are sowing the same result.
I suspect its vista thats causing the corruption. Uploaded 2 pics below

Any help would be appriciated.

disable the force ambient light ;)

Can't view the pics so not sure the exact problem, but here are the cvars that control texture quality:-

seta image_roundDown "0"
seta image_useCompression "0"

seta r_renderer "best"
You can put those in the console or your CFGs to override the in-game menu settings.
