alright I started scultping on a sphere3D. all went good till I realized that the sphere poles might hinder my work. So I did some research and found out, that a polysphere comes without poles - great, I want one!

Now I have my advanced sculpted shape on this poled sphere3d and don't want to start all over with a new polysphere - so is there a way do I apply the existing shape to a new polysphere?

I read it was possible on Zbrush3 (or 3.1?), it's a new method for game dev, as the low poly mesh is not always made by the same person, and can be "optimized" after the high poly model is finished.

I can't remember the name of this feature... :?

Sorry.

aye, thanks anyway.

I've managed to perfom this action, even though I think there must be a better method of doin this. It felt a little bit like a 'hack'... ...apart from that, I started all over again anyway
